Samsul Arifin is a marine engineering graduate from the Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology, Surabaya, with expertise in various engineering works, specifically in marine vessel technology such as Marine Power Plant, Marine Machinery, and System.

With a strong background in Root Cause Analysis, Risk Assessment and Management, and Risk Control Options, he has extensive experience in data analysis, technical and engineering analysis, and possesses good competencies in communication, teamwork, flexibility, emotional intelligence, and attention to detail.

Samsul has worked as a 3D Design Engineer for various clients from 2016-2017 before joining Wintermar Marine Offshore as a Technical staff from 2018-2019. He was responsible for monitoring vessel PMS, conducting physical inspections and validation of repair works, and participating in docking matters. In 2019, he joined MatthewsDaniel International as a Marine Surveyor, where he conducted numerous surveys such as Risk Management, P&I, H&M Damage, and estimated repair cost, duration, and claims.

Samsul worked at Aldis as a Marine Surveyor & Coordinator, conducting surveys such as Risk Management, Towing Approval, Marine Warranty, Load out, Loss Prevention, P&I, and H&M Damage, estimating repair cost, duration, and claims. He is skilled in various types of surveys such as P&I, Off/On hire, Pre-purchase, Marine Warranty, Lashing and Securing, Marine H&M, Suitability, Cargo Damage, Condition, and Ship Inspection for Marine Loss Prevention Programs.

His experience on the field combined with his technical understanding of the survey landscape brought him to lead Rely operations in Batam, Indonesia
