Muhammad Naim is a certified Chief Engineer and Member of the Institute of Marine Engineering, Science and Technology (MIMarEST). He began his maritime career in 2008 with CMA CGM, serving on board container vessels and rising to the position of Second Engineer. In 2018, he transitioned ashore as a Technical Superintendent, overseeing container, bulk, and livestock vessels.
Over the following five years, Naim managed day-to-day vessel operations including maintenance, dry-docking, budgeting, and class surveys. In 2023, he embraced a new challenge and joined a reputable Consultancy Company as H&M and P&I Senior Marine Surveyor.
Bringing his strong operational background into the field of marine inspections and casualty investigations, Naim joined RELY Marine Singapore Pte Ltd in 2025.
His work encompasses damage assessments related to collisions, crane failures, boiler and stern tube issues, and cargo contamination, serving clients across Hull and Machinery and P&I Clubs. Naim’s technical acumen, coupled with formal training in ISM auditing and marine incident investigation, ensures accurate, efficient, and reliable survey work in the Asia-Pacific region.
