Marcelo Colombi is an Argentine-Italian Industrial Maintenance Engineer and Marine Surveyor with over 25 years of experience in the marine industry.
He has worked as a Chief Engineer on various types of ocean vessels and as a Fleet Superintendent for Exxon.

In his previous employment, Marcelo was the Maintenance and Repair Manager for Ultrapetrol American Barges Lines, where he was responsible for a fleet of 580 barges and 34 push boats. He also served as the Shipyard Manager, overseeing dry dock repairs and new projects. Prior to that, he was the Maintenance and Repair Manager for American Commercial Barges Lines.
He has completed various courses related to marine surveying, pollution prevention, quality improvement, and leadership.

Marcelo is a spanish native speaker, fluent in English and has a good command of Portuguese and Italian.

He works with Rely to lead operations in Rosario, Argentina and in all the main port locations in south America as Marine Surveyor and Marine Industry Consultant, where he provides expert advice on hull and machinery damages, pre-purchase reports, and cargo control.
